Emerging Artist

Angelino soul singer Eric Bellinger (#5) made the right choice when he decided to pursue his passion for music and turn down a football scholarship to the University of Southern California. The 29-year-old vocalist had some early experience as a major label artist as part of the group AKNU (A Kind Never Understood) but didn’t really getting going until he fully dove into being a songwriter. With a Sony ATV publishing deal inked he worked with artists such as Chris Brown, Usher, Selena Gomez, and Justin Bieber. This summer he dropped Cuffing Season through 300 Entertainment, just released an EP called In the Meantime Pt. 2, and will be releasing Cuffing Season 2 next week, which features the single Valet featuring Fetty Wap and 2 Chainz. That’s a lot of material well spread out over 6 months, giving him consistent exposure utilizing digital channels rather than relying on one big release. Eric will be playing some pretty cool club dates in December; it will be fun to watch what he does, and what kind of activity he generates, going into 2016.
