WOW! We’ve got Pop, Rock, Country, R&B, Rap, Alternative, and EDM all represented, a couple of continents covered, and 4 2016 Grammy Nominees. These acts hit our radar before breaking big and we can’t be happier for them and are excited to see what they accomplish in 2016!

Jamaican singer OMI first appeared on the Emerging chart in March and ended up registering the #13 Song of 2015 with one of the top songs of summer, Cheerleader, and that was more than enough to nab him the #1 spot here.

Following her first appearance as an Emerging Artist in March, Elle King‘s Ex’s & Oh’s is a radio hit as we post this and she continues to climb the Ultimate100Artists chart. Only on her first single,  an upcoming tour with Vance Joy, and 2 Grammy nominations. We’re sure to see Elle King’s success continue into next year.

Halsey: April 2015, first appears on Emerging Artists…November 2015, sells out Madison Square Garden. Enough said.

On his debut album, Coming Home, classic R&B sound has been given new life by Fort Worth, Texas native Leon Bridges. He first charted on Emerging in June and in the last week he played Saturday Night Live and was given a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Album.

German DJ and Producer Robin Schulz is responsible for a string of hot collaborative jams this year, most notably the big-time hit Prayer In C with French duo Lilly Wood & The Prick. It didn’t take long from his June Emerging appearance for all the activity to rack up. Currently Sugar (ft. Francecso Yates) is making ears happy, and by the way Mr. Yates is surely one to check out if you’re unfamiliar…we might just be hearing big things from him in 2016.

Let us take a moment to recognize the FIVE Country acts that made the list: Kelsea BalleriniOld Dominion Sturgill SimpsonRaeLynn, and Michael Ray. YeeeeeeHaaaaaaw!
