In addition to Ms. Gomez above, all of these artists are doing quite well these days, but a special deal between Universal Music Group and Microsoft allowing Windows 10 users in the U.S. to download ten albums for no cost as a Christmas gift from the Windows Store and Groove Music has strongly contributed to spikes for these participating artists:

Hotline Bling from Drake is #5

The latest single from The Weeknd, In the Night, wastes no time as it moves 59 places to #7

Leading into the final week of this season of the Voice, in addition to the aforementioned winner, we have lots of performances Debuting as fans download them like crazy:

Memphis rapper Yo Gotti Debuts Down in the DM at #96

Blake Shelton’s Gonna is a hit at Country radio and gains new life around his much-publicized relationship with Gwen Stefani, it Debuts at #98 on the main chart and jams up 28 spots on Ultimate Country Songs for #8 there

Emerging Artist

Raury (#25) is a 19-year-old native of Stone Mountain, Georgia who delivers a unique blend of soul, hip-hop, alternative, and folk music. This mix has led to quick success: he released his first mixtape, Indigo Child, less than 18 months ago and has since been signed to Columbia Records, shortlisted for BBC’s Sound of 2015 poll, and invited by Lorde to contribute a track to the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.

His debut album, All We Need, was released in October and could be one that gains momentum over time as fans discover him. You know the kid has something when that debut includes features by the likes of RZA, Tom Morello (his first single Friends), and Big K.R.I.T.. A video for his latest single, Trap Tears (ft. Key!) was just released and is getting some press this week.

Raury just finished a string of club dates in November and has scored some huge upcoming opening slots for A$AP Rocky that will add to his exposure.
