Canadian Alt-Country outfit The Strumbellas make their Debut on the Emerging Artists chart at #39 this week. For fans of the genre and those north of the border this is not a revelation, but they are surely new to the vast majority of U.S. listeners. Their first two albums found success in their home country, earning 2 Juno Award nominations, winning one. They have now signed with the influential Glassnote Records for the release of their third album, Hope, which is due out in April. The lead single, Spirits, is off to an amazing start at Alternative Radio where it is currently #16 and has already racked up over 14 million in audience to date across all formats. Live dates run across Canada in February before a few U.S. dates…but look for bigger tour announcements to come in short order.
