Emerging Artist

Last week we noted the recent surge in Country on the Emerging Artists chart. Well, Hip-Hop/Rap is in on that too. Our newest addition is Rob $tone, who makes a strong Debut at #11. Rob came out of nowhere fast, he wasn’t even on the radar in his home town of San Diego, when his cut Chill Bill (ft. J. Davis & Spooks) started spreading on SoundCloud and then was used in The LAD Bible’s “fireball” video that got some decent viral spread a couple of months ago.

RCA Records snapped him up and the song with a catchy whistling loop (fans of Kill Bill, Vol. 1 will instantly recognize it…and the reference of the song’s title) and mega-hard drop is making its way out into the world…could we have another Panda or at least an Uber Everywhere on our hands?

San Diego heads can catch him open for Lil Uzi Vert at The Observatory North Park on August 11th.
